Responsibilities ?? This position will be responsible for work relating to employee benefits law. Requirements include at least 5 years experience in counseling on a wide range of ERISA issues impacting plan design, plan administration, reporting and disclosure, and fiduciary issues with regard to defined benefit, defined contribution and health and welfare benefit plans. Responsibilities will also include oversight and review of documents including plan documents, investment management agreements, summary plan descriptions, employee benefits communications, contracts and proxies. Must also have experience in the tax aspects of employee benefits and executive benefits, including knowledge and experience in 162(m) and 409A compliance. General employment law background helpful. Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills required. Corporate or large law firm experience preferred. Qualifications J.D. or equivalent, five (5) plus years of relevant employee law benefits experience and a member in good standing of a state bar.
