Reporting to the Executive Medical Director, you will play an integral role in the establishment/implementation of comprehensive behavioral health medical policy, representation to internal/external customers, as well as in the development and clinical oversight of the organizations overall Behavioral Heath Program. Responsibilities will include: ? providing strategy and goals to day-to-day department managers ? ensuring client satisfaction and appropriate level of service delivery ? developing/monitoring goals ? monitoring behavioral health utilization ? managing policy/procedure development ? leading all quality and performance improvement initiatives ? ensuring all regulatory requirements are met ? acting as a clinical consultant to address behavioral health issues ? developing/managing annual budgets ? directing cross-functional strategic projects Qualifications: To qualify, you must have a Doctoral Degree in the Behavioral Health field, current licensure in Behavioral Health, 8+ years experience, and at least 5 years working in a senior management role that included developing and implementing a BH Program, along with the associated policy that goes along with the program. Knowledge of short/long-term corporate strategies, PC proficiency, demonstrated business success, and the ability to provide cost-effective healthcare will be expected, as will knowledge of HEDIS, CAHPS, NCQA, JCAHO and other standardized certifications and quality measures.
