Strategic Account Manager

The successful individual will possess a genuine desire to see his/her customers and partners successfully deliver next generation web/Internet based Visibility , Acceleration and Security with Blue Coat Systems innovative technology. A prospective Blue Coat Strategic Account Manager will need to have an understanding of how to penetrate and grow strategic accounts in the region. Territory planning, strategic selling skills, strong technical acumen, the ability to work through various channels, and presentation skills are required for this position.

Required Skills

? A strong track record of over achieving sales revenue quota attainment

? Proven experience selling large-scale solutions into Strategic accounts.

? 7+ years of sales experience including direct and indirect sales

? 5+ years of experience selling network technology or security solutions to Fortune 2000 accounts

? Strong technology background, working knowledge of Internet protocols, web based visibility, acceleration, security and network infrastructure with the ability to articulate these technologies to customers

? Strong solution selling skills, including extensive experience calling on key executives in Strategic Enterprise accounts.

? Excellent presentation skills, verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills as well as creation and delivery of executive briefings

? Self motivated, driven to develop and increase revenues, and highly independent individual

? Some overnight travel required
