We are seeking a SAS Developer for a 4 month contract with our client in the Financial/Credit Card Industry. Specific functions include: * Pull in data elements from different sources and plug them into business rules * Run the Penalty Engine * Ensure modifications align with plan for December * Work under direct supervision, providing technical assistance to support marketing objectives * Perform basic development work on less complex system modifications or portions of new applications * Participate in impact assessments, develop coding, and perform testing * Maintain programs through implementation by debugging, fixing, and participating in maintenance releases and wellness checks * Develop subject matter expertise and experience including administering defined procedures, creating analyses, and report preparation * Apply standard principles, theories, and concepts The successful applicant will possess the following requirements/characteristics: * Advanced experience working with SAS programming * Macro experience * More UNIX based * HP environment (being used - can be from any environment though) * Strong level of UNIX development * Experience scheduling jobs * Experience with capture completion codes/run times Desired Skills: Non-Tech Skills: Start Date: ASAP Emp.
