The Defense and Maritime Solutions Business Unit is looking for a Video Teleconferencing (VTC) Facilitator/Technician to join our Military Sealift Command (MSC) Team at the Navy Yard in Washington, DC. This role will function as key member of our VTC support team. Working with other team members and our client organization the VTC Facilitator/Technician will be responsible for the establishment and monitoring of VTC meetings at the unclassified and secret levels, providing audio and visual support to non-VTC meetings, and performing maintenance and troubleshooting on installed equipment. In addition the VTC Facilitator/Technician may also be required to develop and update Standard Operating Procedures, deliver daily and weekly reports, and work closely with the engineering team to provide technical assistance during VTC upgrade projects. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree and 2+ years relevant experience with video telecommunications. In lieu of degree - 6 years experience, 5 of which must be supporting VTC equipment, and 3 years facilitating video teleconferences. REQUIRED SKILLS: Must be able to effectively communicate technical details to non-technical personnel in a clear and concise manner. This will include performing research into GSA approved equipment and vendors and providing recommendations supported by analysis. DoD Security clearance: Must be capable of quickly obtaining a Secret Clearance - this will typically require US citizenship as determined by the DoD.
