This person provides customer support and system administration services in support of three DoD networks. Duties include backup servers, application Servers and special configuration requests. This person will be responsible for account creation in Windows user manager and Active Directory. Lotus Notes accounts and server administration will be involved. Key Functions: * Tier I/II/III Operations support and maintenance for Windows Servers and client workstations * OS installs, patching, virus updates, and maintenance * Reset customer account passwords * Relocate customer account profiles * Test customer accounts before deployment * Installation and configuration of multi-user applications * Handle special configuration requests * Handle Windows hardware and software changes * Administer data backups for disaster recovery * Assist in day to day operations of server backups * Provide printer and scanner assistance as required * Create user accounts in Lotus Notes Domino server * Troubleshoot communication crypto issues * Create and manage customer accounts in MS Exchange 2003 * Remote tools such as SMS and Net Ops. * Manage Citrix presentation servers * Manage VPN concentrator * Create and manage service requests to track resolution Preferred Education/Experience: * 3 to 5 years of experience as a Windows Systems Administrator * Bachelors degree or equivalent experience is a plus * Cisco VPN client * MCSA/MCSE and/or CompTIA certifications are a plus * Strong technical skills and familiarity with Windows server NT/2003 and Active Directory are required * Familiarity with Ultrabac products is a plus * Experience with KG-84s, Kiv-7, TACLANE and FASTLANE are a plus * The ability to work well with users and other team members is critical to this position * The candidate will have a track record showing strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, communication skills, organizational skills and ability to work independently * Candidate selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements.
