Northrop Grumman Technical Services sector is seeking a Database Administrator 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the future. This position will be located in Pentagon. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grummans Team Supporting Joint Staff J8 IT & Modeling and Simulation Service Roles and Responsibilities:. Analyst for a team providing support for unique tools, models and information technologies used by the Joint staff in accomplishing their missions. Build and maintain data sets. The building and maintenance of data sets shall include, at a minimum, manipulating inputs and outputs and participating in database updates. Maintain up-to-date and accurate databases to support applicable customer unique systems. Provide the capability to control data permission and access to models and data as specified by the customer. Assemble, Integrate, Analyze Databases translating logical data structures to physical database objects, identifying data anomalies and resolving them, and developing programs and queries using appropriate programming languages. Provide expertise and make recommendations in the database modeling of demand analysis tables and develop comprehensive data models. Maintain, catalog, and develop database linkages for all documents within these unique customer systems and ensure, when appropriate, seamless integration with the customer network. Minimum Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:. Bachelors Degree with 3 years experience OR applicable training certificate issued in accordance with guidelines provided by the software vendor (ie, Microsoft MCSE/MCSA, Oracle DBA) from an accredited training institution plus at least twelve (12) years of task related experience. 3 Years experience performing database administration to include design, creation, administration, maintenance and enhancements. Position requires a current TS/SSBI Clearance Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:. Experience serving on the Joint Staff or other staff particularly in the JS J8. Experience with DoD customers. Experience with JCIDs and/or the Analytic Agenda This position is contingent upon contract award, budget, and/or customer approval.
