Auditor

Theres quite a distance between wondering and knowing. And for patients waiting for answers to important health questions, its a road they want to travel as quickly as possible.

At Quest Diagnostics Incorporated, we understand urgency. But more than speed, we focus our energies on accuracy. Currently, we seek an Internal Auditor.

Main Duties:

INTERNAL AUDIT FUNCTION

* Prepare audit workpapers that support the audit report conclusions submitted to Senior Management and the Audit Committee.

* Evaluate internal control environment and assess compliance with corporate policies and procedures.

* Identify internal control/system deficiencies and provide feasible corrective action plans.

* Participate in financial statement reviews in accordance with GAAP.

* Operate under minimal directions and employ leadership skills.

* Participate in complex audit engagements.

* If candidate has an accounting degree and has not passed CPA, will be required to pursue CPA

DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES

* Work in other various Corporate Finance functions to personally develop skills in other aspects of Quest and to bring those experiences back to Internal Audit to provide greater insight when performing audits

* Opportunity for rotation into a Corporate Finance or Business Unit position within 2 to 3 years

Required Knowledge

* Relevant experience preferred (e.g., industry, auditing, accounting, etc.)

Required Experience

* College graduate  required.  Accounting degree or Finance related degree preferred.

* CPA or Chartered accountancy preferred.

* Big 4 or Regional audit firm experience preferred

Special Requirements

* 25 - 30% domestic/international travel while on audit engagements

* Some international travel possible.
