Manufacturing/Production Engineer-II

We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer. Medical Device experience is preferred. Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication is required. Experience taking a product or process from concept to commercialization is preferred. Project Management experience is preferred. LEAN Manufacturing methodologies and experience is preferred. Six Sigma methodologies and experience is preferred. SAP experience is highly preferred. Responsible for running manufacturing engineering projects. Utilizes state of the art technology and automation whenever possible. Provides shop floor support to assure on-time delivery of new and existing products. Processes and programs new or existing products on manufacturing equipment either manually or through computer operations. Creates and maintains product routings and bills of material. Orders tooling necessary for processes. Specifies raw material configuration for new and existing products. Represents manufacturing engineering as a project core team member. Responsible for achieving the goals and objectives of the team, which includes participating in meetings, completing functional assignments, problem solving and meeting defined milestones and deliverables, which leads to timely project commercialization in a positive team environment.

B.S. in Engineering is required. A degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering is preferred. Specialized training in CNC programming, time study or processing operations is preferred. Minimum of 3 years experience in CNC machining/programming or manufacturing processes, tooling, fixture, machine and equipment design is required. CAD/CAM experience is preferred. Unigraphics, AutoCAD, Minitab experience is preferred. Experience using MS Project is preferred. Experience working in a union environment is preferred
