Brief Description of Position:
The HMS Programmer Analyst supports the company’s goal of collecting, integrating and presenting industry standard data about healthcare professionals from a wide array of sources.  The Programmer Analyst prepares internal datasets and contracted deliverables via the usage of internal tools, data manipulation software and custom-coded solutions.

Reports to: Technical Manager, Client Delivery

• Organizational abilities
• Strong general technical ability, including proficiency in:
o Linux and/or Unix style OS
o Perl (or Shell Scripting, AWK)
o MS Access
o SQL programming; Oracle preferred
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
