Assembly Technician

Incumbent responsible for the operation of machinery to produce a variety of moderately complex parts, assemblies and completed products. Modify developmental and production devices. MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING ** Top Secret (Eligible for SCI) ** Minimum of 5 years experience in hand surface mount soldering to 0402 chip component level ** Demonstrated experience in interpreting schematics, engineering drawings, circuit layouts and wiring diagrams ** Demonstrated experience in mechanical assembly, interpreting parts lists and mechanical drawings ** Experienced in perform electronic testing and inspection using portable measuring devices Preferences: ** Machine shop skills in aluminum and plastics (Hand Tools, Drill Press, End Mill, Lathe, Fold-Bend, Brake, Shear, Press)  ** Screen Solder Paste assembly, manual Pick-&-Place machines and Hot-Air IR Reflow machines ** Harness manufacturing experience ** Experience in interpreting cable drawings and assemblies ** Working knowledge of microscope surface mount circuit soldering assembly and rework BAE Systems is the premier global defense and aerospace company, delivering a full range of products and services for air, land, and naval forces, as well as advanced electronics, information technology solutions, and customer support services.
