Position: WPC Site Representative in Washington, DC at the Washington Navy Yard Daily Responsibilities:  * Installation of software patches, software trouble shooting, and maintenance of systems hardware * Installation, Verification and Validation (IV&V) testing support * Communication with San Diego and other Site engineers concerning IV&V testing and future software releases * Attend meetings (WPC Core IPT, TNT, PTW, PMA281 HERB, other technical meetings) * Writing assessments to DRs, ERs for the SERBs and weekly status reports * Redlining Installation Guide documentation, User Manuals, and other Test &Evaluation documentation as required * System back ups and preventive Maintenance of all systems. * Installation and test support of third party software. * Installation and test support of system security patches. * On-call and fly-away technical assist to the UK CMSA (International). * Write the WPC Weekly Report for the Operations & Maintenance Chief Engineer. Other Responsibilities: * Support installs if necessary to support the MIST team (requires travel). * Support the FIST PTW systems at ONI, Suitland, MD. * Attend PTW Software Requirement Reviews (SRR), Program Management Reviews (PMR) etc. throughout the year (if necessary). * Active TS/SCI security clearance required. * Ability to work with a small engineering team (2 other BAE Site Reps) at the Navy Cruise Missile Program Test Facility. * Ability to support site operations and sustainment activities at customer location is required. * Ability to communicate (verbal, written, phone) with Navy Government customers to include the Test and Evaluation Managers and many other Navy contractors. Customer interface and customer relations are a key aspect of this position. Therefore, excellent communication skills are required. * Ability to communicate (verbal, written, phone) with BAE SYSTEMS Software Leads and Systems Leads is required. The Leads are located in San Diego, CA so phone and email communication skills are absolute necessities. * Good problem solving skills, work habits, and troubleshooting skills are required. * Experience/training in: Client/server architecture and database management required. UNIX and PC platform experience is required. * Security+ or some equivalent certification is required. Desired skills: * Knowledge of PTW software and hardware. * Knowledge of GCCS and IPL systems. * Knowledge and skills to support integrating BAE SYSTEMS systems with other systems at the WPC (TPS, MDS, GCCS-M, JTT, JMPS, etc.). * Knowledge of the Tomahawk weapon system CONOPS. * Experience/training in networking.
