As our Navy customer embarks on the development of a new weapons platform, BAE Systems is looking for a highly motivated entry level Electrical Engineer to support our customer. You will be part of a dynamic electrical engineering team working on the TRIDENT Submarine Strategic Weapon System and Attack Weapon System programs. This position is located in Silver Spring, Maryland. Primary Duties Include: -Evaluate, analyze, and provide feedback on proposed changes for interoperability and compatibility in design/development to determine the impacts to weapon system/subsystem interface. -Integrate changes within existing strategic and attack weapon system interfaces and create new interface documents as required. -Prepare reports that identify findings of analyses and reviews. -Apply standard engineering practices to ensure conformance with functional specifications and customer requirements. -Eligible for DoD Secret security clearance -Bachelors Degree Electrical Engineering -Strong (oral and written) communication skills -Customer interface experience -Ability and willingness to travel -Ability to work independently and in a team environment -Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite -Active security clearance is strongly preferred -Masters Degree Electrical Engineering -Knowledge in the TRIDENT Strategic Weapon System BAE Systems is the premier global defense and aerospace company, delivering a full range of products and services for air, land, and naval forces, as well as advanced electronics, information technology solutions, and customer support services.
