The SOA Technical Architect (TA) will serve the team as a technology consultant; evaluate and validate technologies; participate actively in the creation and review of the functional specification; contribute to defining development standards for the organization. Job Duties: - Design solution architecture to meet business requirements and enterprise standards. - Responsible for implementing foundational SOA infrastructure and related components. - Contribute subject matter expertise by coaching members of project teams and/or Business Unit teams. - Help develop policies and procedures; applying those protocols to the project team including the wider organization impacts.

Qualifications:Required Skills: - Bachelor Science-Computer Science degree. - 10+ years of proven experience architecting large complex IT projects. - 5+ years of Healthcare Payor business experience. - 3+ years IBM WebSphere/Process Server experience. - 5+ years J2EE application development experience - 5+ years WebSphere MQ / Message Broker experience. - 5+ years Sybase, DB2 or Oracle experience. - 3+ years experience in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) - 3+ years experience in Web Services development with familiarity with standards such as SOAP, REST, WS-Security, etc. - 2+ years WebSphere DataPower experience - 2+ years BPM modeling experience, WebSphere Business Modeler preferred.
