Enterprise Data Architect (EDA) will coordinate the movement, enhancement, integration, quality and availability of data throughout the virtual enterprise. Must interact and exert influence with all areas of IT, including application teams, BI teams, and the integration competency center. In addition, the EDA must work closely with the business so that the architecture is aligned with and capable of supporting the business strategy. Job Duties: -Coordination of integrating fragmented data, streamlining the data architecture and improving data quality with BITS organization and business units. so the enterprise can best leverage this valuable asset -Mapping data sources and documenting data movement -Defining technical standards and guidelines -Communicating the data architecture -Ensuring a focus on data quality Qualifications:Required Skills: -Bachelor#*#s degree and 10 years work experience working with enterprise data architecture. Degree in Computer Science/MIS/CIS preferred. -Proven experience in creating enterprise data models, including implementation of enterprise data models. -Proven experience in Master Data Management Architectures, Unstructured Data/Document Management, Data Quality and Data Cleansing approaches -Proven experience with DBMS (i.e. Sybase, SQL Server or DB2), enough to understand: Table Changes, Indexes , Partitioning, Logical Views -Proven experience with Test data management and data privacy and protection -Proven experience with data quality or data governance techniques.
