Lab Assistant Department: Breast Care Center Schedule: Full-time Shift: day Hours: 8-4 Job Details: - Certified Medical Assistant

Assists the Laboratory Technical Staff by processing orders and specimens, and to provide laboratory information to the Medical Staff. Supports the Laboratory Outreach Program by providing excellent customer service. Assists in the performance of FNA and Ultrasound Guided FNA. Stains and prepares slides and paperwork for review.Prepares Breast Conference. Facilitates Ultrasound and US biopsy workflow. Medical Assistant school or equivalent experience in assisting with invasive procedures. Previous lab experience preferred.
