Inventory Control Job ID: HITS05091031 Inventory Control - Washington DC Metropolitan Area - HITS05091031 Description: Job Title: Inventory Control Job Code: HITS05091031 Job Description: * This position is an entry/developmental level position in the Surge Logistics Support occupational specialty with officers generally located throughout the Agency. * This is a multi-incumbent position located in various Directorates, Components and Staffs throughout the Agency. * The position at this level work under direct supervision by a first line supervisor. * The position at this level has no supervisory authority. * This position reports to a first-line supervisor and depending on the incumbents level, requires immediate to direct supervision. * At the entry/developmental level, incumbents will be deployed overseas, domestically and in WDC area to support short or long term requirements as they arise. * Officers will maintain travel ready status and be ready to support mission as needed. * The position perform property control functions, procure supplies and material, ship documents or material, manage vehicle fleet, assist with movement of office furniture/equipment, perform Office Project Management functions, perform General Support Services, perform warehouse/Transportation functions; assist in maintaining inventories; assist in the transportation of material and people; coordinating and performing routine light vehicle maintenance; assisting with office renovations and moves; and performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications: * The position requires an agency acquisition system, Word, excel, access, Internet, various internal databases to request services, travel and complete accounting. * The position requires one year of progressively responsible experience in the performance of a Logistics Services Officer assignment. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. This position requires the candidate to already possess an active Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Poly Security Clearance and to maintain the clearance.
