Responsibilities Will be responsible for developing and maintaining the project schedules and master schedule for all projects in the work portfolio of the Engineering, Design and Fabrication Branch. Support the Production Planning Manager by using appropriately scaled project plans to develop task schedules based on customer provided requirements. Work with Section Supervisors in the design and production areas to validate schedules and obtain inputs on processes and resources relevant to schedule development. For individual tasks, based on understanding of the processes, materials and staffing resources, develop the loaded schedules that become the basis for committing resources and executing material acquisition actions. Develop the integrated master schedule that maps project plans and resource requirements for the whole EDF portfolio of tasking. Work with EDF Group and Section leadership to communicate and resolve scheduling conflicts and resource loading issues. For collections of tasking being performed under a project, work with the project leaders to maintain and update the master schedule as required to keep pace with changes. Work with customer schedulers as required to synchronize project plans between the EDF and the customer organization. Qualifications Required: BS in Engineering or equivalent, 5 yrs experience in project planning and scheduling, proficiency in the use of MS Project and Excel, knowledgeable on the use of MRP systems for project planning and execution and a solid understanding of manufacturing work flows for the fabrication of electro-mechanical hardware in a high reliability, high mix, low volume operation. Must have good verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work as a member of a team. Desired: MS degree, 10 yrs experience, specific experience in planning/scheduling the manufacture of aerospace systems and instruments.
