DESCRIPTION: Lead application developer who will be responsible for analyzing, designing, building, testing and implementing the graphical user interface for Broadridge's redesigned Dividend system as well as build extensive business rules to support the GUI. Architect, design, develop, code, test, debug and document programming applications to satisfy requirements of one or more user areas. Provide comprehensive consultation to business unit and IT management and staff at the highest technical level. Work closely with client management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes. Research and evaluate alternative solutions and make recommendations utilizing Java, J2EE, CICS, DB2 and Mainframe technologies. Interact with business units and other IT areas for the development and support of Back office Securities Core Processing Platform (SCPP). Additionally, be responsible for the development and support of the Back office interfaces to Dividends, Re-org, Corporate Actions and other Investment Banking areas. Minimum education required: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field. Minimum experience required: 5 years of experience in Applications Development or related experience. Skills required: Must have strong dividends business knowledge and detailed knowledge of the Broadridge Dividends processing system; extensive experience creating and building JAVA web based systems and web architecture; leading technical teams independently; knowledge of Mainframe technologies including CICS & DB2.
