Front Desk Receptionist Job Code :FSC - Reception Division :Finance Location :Teaneck NJ US 07666 Job Type :Full Time Career Level :Entry Level Education :High School or equivalent Skill :Administrative Support -Reception/Greeting, Office Management Category :Administrative and Support Services Job Description : We are seeking a Receptionist to join the corporate headquarters of our newly renovated Teaneck office. Prior experience as a receptionist/office administrator is required. If you are self motivated, reliable and able to work without close supervision and possess good multi-tasking skills, strong customer service skills, have a personable demeanor, superb organizational skills and are attentive to details, we are interested in speaking with you.Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Greet and direct visitors to the company in a professional, friendly, hospitable manner * Liaise with building management, contractors, couriers, phone repair, copier repair, etc. as needed for efficient day to day office operations * Work with phone vendor to set up extension and outside line for new hires * Answer general phone line and direct incoming calls to the appropriate associate * Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to general requests made by visitors and associates * Receive, sort, and forward incoming mail on a daily basis * Run postage and prepare outgoing mail for delivery * Coordinate the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, OCS, etc.) * Order, receive, stock and dispense office supplies for each of the copy and pantry rooms * Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving office administration that require attention * Align adequate coverage for function during pre-planned absences * Other duties and special projects as assigned Job Requirements : * High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Associates’ degree preferred. * 1-2 years of relevant experience and/or training. * Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task. * Ability to work with minimal supervision. * Ability to problem solve. * Excellent communication, listening and speaking skills. * Punctual and reliable. * Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. * Must be a team player and be able to take direction from a number of individuals.
