We continue to capitalize and grow our key solution areas: Data Center transformation Service Management (HP SW, ITIL) Application migration Information Management (BI/EDW) The Civilian Agency division within the Federal Practice is now searching for a senior level Manager based in the Washington DC Metro region with experience managing the growth and development of programs and accounts within the Federal Civilian Agency community. Below is a description for this role and the qualifications for this position: The Practice Principal (PP) leads the large, complex, and customized engagements and has the following responsibilities: * Selling and delivering engagements in practice domain areas. * Managing a series of projects to achieve company targets including revenue, profit, growth, utilization and customer satsifaction. * Influencing and coordinatng sales efforts by working closely with Client Principals and Managing Client Principals. * Proactively managing delivery projects and teams to ensure successful delivery of HP solutions. * Providing coaching, mentoring and performance feedback to his/her teams. * Actively seeking and build long-lasting relationships with key customers. * Performing financial forecasting and manage P&L of his/her accounts/projects. Additional Guidance/Criteria: In order to satisfy our contractual obligations with clients, the successful candidate will be required to pass a basic, standard Criminal Records check. Qualifications Qualifications/Experience * Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Washington DC Metro region * Bachelor degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration or other related fields * More than 12 years extensive experience in information technology with deep experience in IT transformation/consolidation, IT infrastructure, Microsoft technologies, ITIL,/ITSM, security, Linux, and applications development/maintenance experience. * More than 5 years in managing complex multimillion dollar projects/programs with at least 10 or more people and revenue targets of $10M - $15M annually. PMP certification is mandatory. * Proven strong leadership and management skills. Is viewed as a leader in guiding the team to achieve best results for both HP and the customers. * Experience with Federal Civilian Agencies strongly preferred * Proven track record in business development with at least 10% year-over-year growth. * Excellent capture and proposal development skills with success track record of developing winning proposals. * Outstanding communication and negotiation skills across all levels of management (customer and in-house) * Proven track record in dealing with difficult customer situations/issues * Experience in P&L management, revenue forecast with multiple projects * Ability to cope with peak workloads, short deadlines, and significant pressure Job - Services Primary Location - United States-Maryland - Bethesda Other Locations - United States-Virginia - Reston Schedule - Full-time Job Type - Experienced Shift - Day Job Travel - Yes, 25% of the time Please refer to job code 1704895 when responding to this ad.
