Senior Director, Human Resources

This highly collaborative role functions as a key member of the Human Resources senior management team. Provides HR leadership, support and direction regarding human resources activities and human strategy for their assigned business partners and the MDCO global organization. Leads the creation of an innovation unit centralized HR business partnership in alignment to the global standards and practices and functions as the day to day HR business partner on all client HR matters. Will also be responsible for large scale HR innovation projects world-wide. Will work closely with teams in EU, U.S. Finance, legal, and the senior leadership teams as well as with all local leadership and associates on day to day matter. Responsibilities: Leads, defines, implements and oversees human strategy and talent management for assigned local client teams to attract, motivate and retain top talent Builds and sustains relationships with all levels of the client organizations to effectively influence analysis and decision-making, especially in the areas of performance management and employee relations Handles all assigned generalist duties for assigned client groups in partnership with other HR Generalists, contract recruiters, talent management team, compensation partners and legal. Responsiblities include talent acquisition, employee relations, coaching, internal consulting, total rewards delivery and input. Contributes leadership and project management for people support systems development and maintenance and HR compliance. Partners effectively with the HR operations team. Provides training and associate development tools in support of the learning strategies. Special Project Leadership Assignments - These assignments include developing and directing cross-functional teams that conduct complex talent and resourcing analyses, international expansion project management, system implementations, merger and acquisition support, special projects and the collection of operational information required by the CEO, CFO, Head of HR, & CAO. Requirements: Knowledge and Experience: - University degree in management or similar field. Advanced degree in HR, Organization Development or business strongly preferred. - At least 10 years? experience in the field of human resources within the HR department of a pharmaceutical or consumer goods company. Minimum of 12 years business experience. - Minimum of 4 years HR team leadership and development experience over a team. - Working knowledge of global HR compliance and employee relations including reporting requirements required. - Previous experience supporting a business expansion, integration or new business venture set-up ex-U.S. - Demonstrated selection, assessment and development experience. - Strong employee relations skills. Languages: A thorough knowledge of written and verbal English. Additional language skills preferred. Skills: - Proficiency in PC based software/windows applications such as Microsoft Office products - Excel, Microsoft Outlook - HR systems management such as Oracle or other HRIS packages - Proven leadership skills in influencing others and direct report development and management - Proven project management experience over large and complex initiatives. - Strong analytical skills, detail oriented and business acumen - Demonstrated excellent written, verbal communication, listening and interpersonal skills - Ability to convey simple to complex HR information to individuals and groups. - Ability to maintain and report on confidential information in an appropriate manner - Ability to meet strict deadlines - Ability to travel 10% or more as needed Previous Applicants: Email: Password: If you do not remember your password click here.
