Installs, troubleshoots, repairs and configures access control, security alarms, and closed circuit television systems. Responds to customer service calls in a timely and efficient manner, troubleshoots and repairs as needed. Performs service tasks required to fulfill service requirements for time and material (T&M), emergency service, and TSP contractual agreements. Completes necessary documentation as per the Service Delivery Policy. Communicates with central dispatch on current work order status and receives updates on outstanding customer issues on a daily basis following the Service Delivery Policy. Participates in after hours service program. Assists on installation projects during non-utilized time. Acts as the department expert in troubleshooting problems. Provides technical support with programming and hardware support to other technicians, management and sales force. Mentors and trains lower level service technician on company policies, practices and regulations. Assists sales force with identifying proper company equipment on future jobs. Associates degree in Electronics or related field. 3-5 years Service Technician experience Working knowledge of alarm panels, systems, card access and video matrix systems. Expert knowledge at the senior level. General knowledge of electronics, components, and construction. Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a short period of time. Completes necessary certification courses on internal and external products used. Certification completed at the senior level.
