Princeton HealthCare System is currently searching for a full time, days, Mental Health Associate for our Cherry Hill outpatient facility. The Mental Health Associate assists case managers/group therapists in providing direct care to individuals and groups in all designated programs. Specific duties and responsibilities include: Participate in the development and implementation of the multidisciplinary treatment plan. Demonstrate competency in the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to meet the psychological and social needs for the patient population. Conduct group interventions under the guidance and direction of the case manager. Document each treatment session in accordance with Princeton House documentation policies. Maintain a safe and therapeutic milieu by enforcing program rules, regulations and limits. Attend daily treatment rounds, providing input to and being receptive to input from other members of the treatment team. Identify significant changes in patients? clinical status and communicate to appropriate member(s) of the treatment team. Possess the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to meet patients physical, psychological, and social needs with those growth and development levels/patient populations served within the department. Support customer service and performance improvement goals of the department; collaborate with other caregivers/staff, within and outside the Department, to develop means of enhancing patient care and service. Maintain standards of confidentiality. Participate in unit compliance as related to established standards. Perform other duties and projects as assigned. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelors degree in social sciences or related specialization required. One year of experience in treatment of the programs patient population required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required; professionalism essential. Also required are a customer service orientation, a teamwork approach, flexibility, organizational and problem-solving skills. Experience with children and adolescents with behavioral health issues.
