Princeton HealthCare System is currently searching for a Community Education Program Assistant for University Medical Center at Princeton. The Program Assistant is responsible for various administrative, clerical and office functions related to South Brunswick outreach and CPR department. Under the direction of the CPR, South Brunswick and Corporate Coordinator, schedules and implements health education programs for South Brunswick and various corporations as needed. This includes, but is not limited to, contacting speakers, scheduling the venue, organizing event details, attending events to assist with registration and moderation of speakers. Hours must be flexible to accommodate moderation of evening events. Provides assistance to the CPR, South Brunswick and Corporate Coordinator by participating in CPR course management. Pulls class rosters from CMS and prepares all class materials daily.Delivers appropriate supplies to class locations. Maintains security of CPR class exams. Collates class data and forwards class numbers to designated staff on a daily basis. Maintains and keeps inventory of CPR materials at various locations, and notifies Coordinator when supplies need to be re-ordered. Assist with processing of CPR certification cards and data base as needed. Enter CPR class/instructor evaluations into data bases. Process CPR course and instructor statistics on a monthly basis. Assist with obtaining class instructors for over 300 CPR programs annually. Assist with the planning, scheduling and implementation of FREE CPR week. Adheres to all American Heart Association guidelines. Input of program evaluations into web-based database for use of evaluating and planning future programs as needed. Under the direction of the Site Director, assist with front desk operations on a needed basis. Attends community events to assist with registration of participants, and other tasks as identified by Coordinator, as needed. Assists all Program Coordinators, Program Director and Site Director as assigned with light office duties; preparation for large events; organize mailings to community members and maintains databases. Supports customer service and performance improvement goals of the department; collaborates with other caregivers/staff, within and outside the department, to develop means of enhancing patient care and service.Maintains standards of confidentiality. Participates in department compliance as related to establish standards. Other duties and projects as assigned. Qualified candidates will have High School Diploma. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required; professionalism essential. Must demonstrate mastery skills in Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, internet explorer and other web browsers. Knowledge of CMS database preferred.Requires a customer service orientation, a teamwork approach, flexibility, and organizational and problem solving skills.
