Mid-Level Architect or Engineer, Facilities (Washington, DC) The Louis Berger Group, Inc., a top 25 ENR firm, with offices in several locations in the Washington, DC office, seeks individuals with interest and experience in project management and design architectural/engineering projects. Berger is a multidisciplinary architecture, engineering, planning, and environmental consulting firm with rewarding opportunities available in our Washington, DC office for qualified candidates. The ideal candidate for this full-time position should have a bachelors degree in Architecture or Engineering, 7-10 years of experience in design, excellent communication and design team skills, and CADD proficiency. Job responsibilities include: 1) Coordinate client deliverables, including the preparation of design documents (drawings, specifications, and cost estimates) for construction of international projects, government and military facilities such as laboratories, ranges, academic facilities, administrative, housing, fuel systems, hangars, pavements and utilities. 2) Assist in architectural/engineering field surveys and writing reports for planning studies, site selection, environmental permitting and environmental compliance. The Louis Berger Group seeks entry level architects and civil engineers in our Washington DC office. Requirements include: 1. Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, or Architecture from an accredited university. 2. US Citizenship or Green Card 3. Live within commuting distance to the Washington DC office. 4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Auto Cad, Primavera scheduling software, or other industry related software. 5. Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal in English. 6. Prior experience from an internship in the industry preferred. 7-10 years experience in the AEC industry acceptable.
