Pre-Sales Enterprise Architect - Advanced Programs...

As a PreSales Enterprise Architect in the Advanced Programs Group, you will work with our Federal sales force to understand customer programs, articulate HPs high level solution benefits to customers, and influence customer technical directions using a unique combination of deep technical knowledge and broad Intelligence Community experience in a technical sales role.

As a leader on the HP PreSales team you will be responsible for:

•        Effectively engaging at the executive level up to C-level in IC accounts. Articulate the business value of HPs technology to our business partners and customers in terms of how it addresses their mission needs.

•        Applying Expert domain knowledge across a wide range of the HP solution portfolio, especially data center strategies including servers, networks, storage and their physical implications.

•        Rapid assimilation of emerging industry and IC trends

•        Leverage deep understanding of the competition - both positioning strategy and technology - to create competitive advantage for HP

•        Demonstrating expert knowledge of HPs technology & solutions

•        Creating  a positive change in how customers perceive our products and services

•        Becoming a recognized resource for consultation by executive management

•        Leading large, cross division presales projects that affect HPs long-term goals

•        Demonstrating strong communications skills with IT and LOB managers, as well as C-level executives

•        Leveraging HP solutions to support customer IT strategic directions, creating extensive customer business value

•        Applying a  deep understanding of technical innovations & trends to solving customer business problems

•        Leading technical/product knowledge sharing with account teams and channel partners.

•        Translating business direction into Presales implications, able to communicate and acquire acceptance of these customers, partners and colleagues.

Qualifications

•        Must Possess an active TS/SCI w/FS Polygraph clearance •        A minimum of 10 years technical field sales experience selling to the Intelligence Community across multiple levels within an account.

•        Possess a broad and expert understanding of information technology in the IC with both depth and breadth of HP technical product knowledge.

•        Possess deep technical knowledge including ands -on Networking (CCIE or CCDE a plus), LINUX (RHCE or equivalent), Windows, Hardware, Storage and Mission Critical Concepts)

•        Be perceived as a recognized industry leader in the Intelligence Community

•        Excellent customer and communication and presentation skills

•        Strong technical sales & negotiation skills
