Description: - Technical Solutions Consultant (LEX001Z4) Technical Solutions Consultant LexisNexis : United States-District of Columbia-Washington Description A Technical Solutions Consultant serves as a technical resource and partner to the sales team. Technical Solutions Consultants are charged with the responsibility of demos, technical presentations, working with customers, resolving customer issues, and providing installation and configuration support. A successful Technical Solutions Consultant has a detailed understanding of LexisNexis, databases, programming, search technologies, and web technologies. The successful candidate should have a consultative sales style incorporating technical skills while delivering business value, yet focused on revenue and be willing to take the initiative to ensure that LexisNexis wins the decision. Qualifications Job duties are varied and complex requiring independent judgment. May have project lead role. Minimum 5-7 years field sales experience. Subject matter expertise in industry/product space. Must possess knowledge of key industry leaders and management. Knowledge of LexisNexis competition. Presentation and product demonstration experience. Some understanding of software and consulting arenas. Excellent communication skills with prospects and customers. Travel may be required. BA/BS degree in related field.
