Description Title: Associate Scientist I/II Location: MD, Gaithersburg - Corporate Headquarters Req: 02060 Position Summary: Major Duties and Responsibilities (including supervising others): This individual would be responsible for cloning genes into various expression systems. They would also be responsible for expressing the genes in an in vitro setting. An additional duty would be the analysis of various samples by qPCR. Position Requirements Special Skills/Abilities: Strong molecular biology skill set including cloning, sequencing, and qPCR. Also needs experience with mammalian cell culture. Job Complexity: High level of technical experience needed. Supervision: Minimal level of supervision required. (Supervision required, level of independence) Educational Requirements Requirements/Qualifications: Education: BS or MS degree Experience: 5+ years of experience in the biotech industry or academic setting.
