Description: - Design Project Engineer, HYCO (0900873) Job Description Design Project Engineer, HYCO-0900873 Description This integrated engineering position within the fast growing and highly visible HYCO team is dynamic and challenging based on the multiple types of execution methodologies used to build world class Hydrogen facilities. The specific job responsibilities will depend on the candidates skills and background, but will include: 1. Project Engineering -Work closely with the Project Manager and the HYCO engineering team. Candidate will have the overall responsibility to coordinate project specific mechanical, civil, electrical design and engineering activities for self-perform in-house projects or provide oversight engineering review associated with outsourced / turn key engineering firms. Additional accountabilities include those necessary to insure Praxairs design safety requirements are met. Candidate may be required to self perform some of the tasks listed above. 2. Proposal Support - participate in the preparation of specifications, bid documents, cost estimates, and completion of FEL documentation for new HYCO opportunities for NAIG and Praxair international region companies. Candidate my also have the opportunity to be the proposal manager. 3. Project Construction - Candidate will also spend some time at construction sites assisting the Construction Manager during the construction phase and insuring that quality and safety requirements are met. Domestic and international travel may be required. Qualifications Requires Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Engineering with 7 - 15 years of engineering or project management experience Experience with Autoplant and Caesar II required.
