Primary Purpose Serve customers by accurately and promptly performing transactions while delivering exceptional customer service Key Understands key selling features and benefits creates one minute approaches to be used with customers about each product to generate interest and referrals Helps the team grow customer relationships by making sales referrals when appropriate Promptly processes consumer and business transactions in an accurate and efficient manner Follows bank policies procedures and security guidelines complies with federal state and local regulations maintains awareness of updated policies and procedures Balances cash transactions daily and minimizes out of balance occurrences If out of balance resolves condition corrects error and ensures appropriate customer notification Conveys professional image and always demonstrates exceptional customer service behaviors pleasant makes eye contact greet customers by name professional attire Helps enhance customer relationships by identifying opportunities and referring to the Financial Specialist or other financial center personnel as appropriate Effectively addresses customer service issues and or escalates to appropriate person Participates with financial center team members to consistently meet or exceed customer service goals Works as an active member of the Teller team to minimize customer wait time Demonstrates product service knowledge on alternative delivery channels and proactively educates customers Adheres to customer service protocols and processes Actively participates with financial center team members and in daily huddles and team meetings to ensure that financial center goals are achieved Delivers and proactively seeks feedback for improving personal as well as team performance REQUIREMENTS Requirements A High School diploma GED or are currently enrolled in a High School GED program is required At least 1 year of retail sales and or customer service experience required Previous experience selling products and services preferred Strong customer relations and problem solving skills required ability to communicate effectively with customers and establish rapport when handling customer inquiries and transactions Excellent interpersonal verbal communication and listening skills required Proven ability to achieve goals Must be able to effectively deal with high customer traffic and constant interruptions Strong attention to detail is required Experienced and comfortable using computers Ability and desire to interact in a team environment must be willing to contribute to team efforts Teller or Cash handling experience is preferred Wed 10 00 6 15 Thur 10 45 5 15 Fri 10 45 4 00 Sat 8 30 12 45 Please refer to job code 286482 when responding to this ad.
