Assists with the day-to-day recruitment activities of a research project in the Department of Psychiatry entitled ? Telehealth Trauma Interventions for Low SES Abused Women?. These functions are performed in accordance with Georgetown University Medical Centers philosophy, policies, procedures and standards. Assists Project Coordinator and PI in the day to-day study activities in accordance with predetermined guidelines set by PI. Works closely with PI in daily research activities including recruitment in the field, conducts baseline interviews (Interviews might be scheduled during off hours -not 9 a.m. ? 5 p.m.). Administers the experimental treatment intervention, and scheduling of participants; assists with data management including establishing a filing and coding system for data, identifying scoring problems, data entry, review and clean data. Coordinates distribution of project materials to team members, subjects, in accordance with Dr. Duttons guidelines. Responsibilities include assist with distribution of study brochures to potential subjects and assists with coordinating study activities per PI instruction. Coordinates/schedules investigators meetings, team meetings, and participant sessions; Coordinate recruitment arrangements; assists with a variety of special projects as needed. Provides support to principal investigator and other members of the grant(s) team including maintaining and updating relevant journal articles; assisting with correspondence; coordinating research meetings; coordinating presentations, including literature and slide preparations; and completing various reporting requirements. Assumes other duties and responsibilities that are appropriate to the position and area. Bachelors degree with 1-2 years of clinical interview experience and Knowledge of basic statistics. Good communication and organization skills; Microsoft Office, SPSS.
