BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER GP is in need of a Business Development Manager to promote GPs Performance Engineering, Consulting and Technical Training Services to the power generation industry. You will work with our Performance Engineering Services Team to primarily focus on new customer development/growth for GPs world-leading products and services related to Thermal Performance Improvement; including EtaPRO? Performance and Condition Monitoring System and VirtualPlant? Modeling Software. Experience and Qualifications The Business Development Manager will have experience in the sales of high tech products and services to the power generation industry. * High energy individual, accustomed to self direction and motivation. * Possess an engineering/technical background but have transitioned and Sales is now your career path. * Well versed in developing new customer accounts, qualifying opportunities, making customer presentations, preparing proposals and pricing, closing opportunities, negotiating terms and conditions, and representing at key industry events. * Have a proven track record selling to the power generation industry and are well respected by your network and contacts. * Currently live and are willing to travel throughout the East Coast US.
