Responsible for assigned field staff, overall management and direction of major construction projects. Typically manages a staff of 15-30 employees. Accountable for timely and satisfactory completion of construction projects, client service, field staffing , project plans, performance evaluation, setting objectives and related management activities. Quality control of field projects ensuring basic policies and parameters are followed. Assist in resolution of construction issues. Must have strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills. Represent HNTB with clients, public and regulatory agencies. Responsible for the hiring, supervision, development, evaluation, and termination of staff members. Strong understanding of project controls and how they relate to the successful execution of construction contracts. Responsible for cost control and financial performance. Qualifications NJ P.E. Registration plus 15 years of experience in the Construction inspection and management field. Minimum of 10 years prior experience as a Resident Engineer or Project Manager.
