Description: - Pricing Analyst (LEX0020C) Pricing Analyst LexisNexis : United States-Ohio-Miamisburg Description Role Description: Pricing Analyst Basic Function This position will provide best-in-class pricing decisions on deals (in concert with Sales, Segment, and Product leaders), focused on growing profits at LexisNexis within the Government Business Unit. Location Miamisburg, OH (within commute from Northern Cincinnati), or Washington DC metro area. Experience 2-3 Years experience within a Fortune 500 company, preferably supporting the Federal and SLG markets Knowledge of Federal and State and Local Government (SLG) contracting procedures and regulations, including GSA and GWAC Schedules, and MSA (Master Service Agreements) Working knowledge of the business activities for reviewing, evaluating, and responding to RFPs, RFIs, SOOs, and other Federal and State & Local solicitation types. Education Quantitative undergraduate degree (Engineering, Finance, Economics, etc.) Responsibilities Thought Leadership - Provide thought leadership and decision structure in the pricing and packaging of specific deals Pricing/Product Analytics - Understand and leverage the establishment of strong data, pricing analytics, and competitive intelligence into better deal pricing decisions Deal Management - Provide daily support of all deals from in the Federal and SLG markets Special Projects - Scope, lead, and/or manage ad hoc pricing analyses and initiatives as they relate to pricing and packaging of deals Skills Communication - Communicate clearly and succinctly with multiple levels throughout the organization, and across multiple functions (Sales, Product, Segment, Marketing, Operations) Analytics/Generate Insights - Strong ability to turn data into information and insights, driving towards recommendations that drive significant profit impact Results Driven - Focused on completing accomplishments and commitments ahead of schedule and exceeding the expectations of internal customers Presentation - Ability to structure, articulate, and present a persuasive recommendation to key peers (Segments, Sales, Product) and Pricing Leadership Relationships - Ability to solicit the needs of internal customers in order to form strong, multi-level relationships built on mutual trust and understanding Qualifications LexisNexis is a leading global provider of business information solutions to professionals in a variety of areas, including: legal, corporate, government, law enforcement, tax, accounting, academic, and risk and compliance assessment.
