Princeton HealthCare System is currently searching for a full time, days, Medical Office Assistant for the Occupational Medicine Services at the University Medical Center at Princeton. The Medical Office Assistants primary responsibility is to support the clerical needs of the department and to assist the physicians and nurses in providing clinical services to the daily operation of Occupational Medicine Services. Specific duties and responsibilities include: Coordinates scheduling and maintains master schedule for Occupational Medicine Services and their clients. Conducts Occ Med Services correspondence customer oriented manner Retrieves and responds to voice mail messages Coordinates clerical needs and referral scheduling or workers compensation claims Other clerical responsibilities as assigned in the department. Assists physicians and nurses during clinic hours in the delivery of care including physicals and treatment of workplace injuries. Performs phlebotomy, EKGs and other screening services. Other Medical Assistant duties as assigned. Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma or equivalent required. Proficiency with computer, and commonly used business applications, (Word, Excel). Previous experience in a healthcare setting or behavioral healthcare setting.
