Senior Manager, Security and Sovereignty Solutions Responsible for the IDS efforts for access to senior domestic and international customers within the homeland security and international sovereignty market as it applies to IDS capabilities in surveillance, situational awareness and decision aid solutions. Develop, identify and assess new business opportunities, and assign new business resources to achieve $500M+ annual revenue generation and growth objectives. Responsible for the application of new business resources to deliver BD products? to business areas, to include: market assessment and entry points, lead generation and qualification, pursuit win strategies, customer and competitive assessments, and win plans, price-to-win and effective proposal efforts. Serve as focal point for future domestic and international customers. Lead the formulation, implementation, and management of discretionary resources; and comprehensive support to business areas, including germane enterprise campaigns, marketing efforts, trade show messaging and business initiatives. Serve as IDS subject matter expert on these capabilities and provide understanding of the customer environment and their buying process in this market. Specific requirements: Individual will work across multiple functions and business areas and lead the delivery of BD products and resources for the business team leaders across IDS to meet or exceed the business plan. Develop and implement strategy for business development efforts for the homeland security and international sovereignty market. Create access and lead purposeful engagement of senior customers to shape the market and develop market trends creating new opportunities for IDS. Responsible for the market assessment and development of new opportunities, plan and assign new business resources and coordinate win efforts across IDS for this market. Responsible for the BD efforts for technology roadmaps, IRAD planning, and Advanced Technology pursuits shaping markets and honing IDS capabilities in this market space. Required Skills: * 12 years experience working within the Homeland Security or Homeland Defense markets with emphasis on Policy, Planning or Execution of Programs. * Knowledge of DoD customers in both the acquisition and user communities. * Knowledge of customer community. * Experience conducting market assessments and assisting in the preparation of business plans, including planning for marketing proposals. * Experience leading pursuits. * Win/Program Manager Experience * Ability to obtain/retain a Secret security clearance. * BA/BS Degree Desired Skills: * 12+ years of relevant industry or USG experience with an established network across Government organizations. * Direct experience in the USG and with International pursuits, and the ability to communicate directly and effectively with key decision-makers. * Ability to present and articulate complex technical issues to senior internal and external customers * Demonstrated leadership and management skills. * Must be able to develop effective relationships with customers based on empathy and trust.
