External Job Description: JOB PURPOSE: The Senior Manager, e-Commerce, is responsible for developing and executing e-Business strategies and objectives that enhance Calverts brand position, deepen relationships with existing clients and acquire new clients. This individual manages the strategic and tactical development of Calverts award-winning Web sites, coordinates and monitors online promotional campaigns and supports collaboration efforts with other UNIFI companies to plan and execute enterprise strategies. The position is also responsible for identifying and deploying new technology, including but not limited to Internet technologies, in support of marketing and sales efforts. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB RESULTS: ? Produce annual e-business objectives, strategies and plan for integration with annual business and marketing strategic plans. ? Leads the development and continuous refinement of Web site information architecture, user interface design, tools and functionality in partnership with the Information Technology Department and external vendors and acts as technology lead for the marketing department. ? Collaborates with various functions including but not limited to Market Development, Channel Marketing, SRI Marketing and Sales Teams to identify and recommend initiatives including content, tools and functionality, and user interface development. ? Identifies strategic partnerships, emerging technologies and optimizes existing technologies that increase opportunities to engage new business in the online environment. ? Manages industry and competitive research and the reporting of Web Site traffic, usage trends, and online promotional activities to management that support corporate goals. ? Leads and manages the development and execution of all digital marketing promotional campaigns in conjunction with the channel marketing team and sales. Uses best practices for digital marketing to help extend Calverts brand and increase sales and retain clients. Experience across PPC, SEO, Social Media and Optimization tools required. ? Manages external agency resources in relation to web activities; continually evaluates freelance design resources to ensure best fit with evolving needs. ? Manages eCommerce budget and supports negotiations for online content and tool licensing fees. ? Responsible for the development and management of eCommerce team including setting objectives, priorities and supporting professional development. ?
