Settlement Analyst

Perform Settlement Operations balancing procedures for one or more platforms (i.e. North, South, Memphis, Omaha, International, Buypass, PayPoint, Non-Stop) to account for all dollars processed. This includes but is not limited to: ? • Real Time? and • Near Time? critical path balancing of submissions, posting, interchange, funding, cash-in/cash-out, and/or settlement warehouse for all sub-platforms and Clients. ? Balance and manage exception inventories (i.e. file rejects, Interchange Rejects, ACH Rejects, Funding Rejects, Debit Adjustments, Debit Disputes). ? Perform ACH and Bankwire payment releases through platform specific funding procedures. ? Perform the necessary problem determination, escalation, and resolution procedures for any issues that may have a negative impact on customer satisfaction. ? Must possess the technical skill to research critical path issues, along with the ability to communicate findings. ? Update procedures and Excel spreadsheets as changes occur and deficiencies or opportunities are identified. ? Act as a liaison with both internal and external customers to ensure that any dollars that did not process successfully are investigated and proper action is taken to resolve the issue.

Candidate Requirements 2-Year Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or Business Degree or equivalent business experience. 3-4 years experience in accounting related functions to include quality monitoring and validating processes. 3-5 years Electronic Payment/Credit Card Industry experience preferred. Advanced knowledge of Settlement Operations processes preferred. Significant experience, with an advanced level of expertise, of Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint) required.

Technical Skill: Demonstrates technical aptitude for various FDC USA tools---i.e. mainframe, FSAMS, Balance, MSA, BOSS, iWise, Dispatch, Unitech, etc.
