External Description: Account Sales Mgr (WC) GENERAL SUMMARY Responsible for implementing account management and prospect sales plans using specified guidelines within the Workers? Compensation product line. Builds and maintains relationships with clients to facilitate problem resolution. Accountable for achieving company defined sales and account management objectives for current and prospective clients. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES - Majority of time is spent external to place of business on outside sales activities related to retaining and increasing the sale of workers? compensation services. - Responsible for meeting sales goals, quotas, and management objectives based upon corporate sales and marketing goals. - Identifies prospective clients within defined territory. - Develops and maintains relationships with local clients and prospects in implementing sales initiatives. - Conducts in-person informational presentations to clients and prospects that result in increased sales. - Responds to all client requests for information. Directs client inquiries to appropriate department. - Monitors monthly revenue to evaluate product performance. - May travel to clients locations to copy pertinent medical records and complete referral forms. - Performs other duties as required. JOB SPECIFICATIONS - High school degree or equivalent. Bachelors degree preferred. - Previous experience (usually 2+ years) in account management and sales. Previous experience in workers? compensation industry preferred. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
