Administrative Coordinator

- High school graduation or equivalent - Good organizational skills - 3-5 years experience preferred - Good analytical, math, organization and problem solving - Verbal and written communication Job Description: Position will primarily support three physicians in a busy internal medicine practice. Performs diversified administrative duties such as typing, dictation, filing, and interfacing with hospital staff and the public. Provides assistance in the day-to-day administration of department. Education: High school graduation or equivalent with secretarial and business courses preferred. Experience: Three years clerical experience in an office environment. Consideration will be given to candidates with medical office experience. Skills: Verbal and written communication, transcription and knowledge of various computer software applications (word processing, presentation, spreadsheets, and Windows). Experience in patient scheduling, knowledge of medical terminology and medical software programs strongly preferred. Physical Requirements: Visual acuity; manual dexterity and physical mobility; hear and orally communicate. Light physical effort (lift/carry up to 10 lbs). Mostly sedentary work. Working Conditions: Normal working conditions.
