Position Summary: Responsible for selling Houghton Mifflin Harcourt products to customers in an assigned territory to meet a sales quota, increase sales volume and dollars per student Primary Responsibilities: ? Making sales calls to schools within assigned territory ? Developing relationships with supervisors and teachers ? Presenting our materials to groups and in one-on-one meetings ? Organizing sales campaigns ? Coordinating implementation and in-service for adopting districts Requirements Physical Requirements ? Ability to work a varying schedule. May require extended hours; 8 plus hours per day, may required work on weekends, as necessary ? Ability to lift heavy product materials repeatedly (25-50 lbs). Must frequently move product from vehicle to meeting location and back in order to conduct sales presentations ? Must be willing to travel frequently within assigned territory; includes some overnight travel as needed Qualifications: ? Bachelors degree five years teaching experience preferred ?
