The HP Financial Services (HPFS) Global and Americas HR Business Partner will drive HR programs, business transformation and organizational design, talent management, and workforce planning for HPFS worldwide. This role will directly support Global Sales & Marketing, Global Customer Delivery & Business Process and our HPFS Americas region. Position leads change initiatives and implements specific HR strategies to achieve organization goals and objectives. Aligns performance management and reward systems to drive and reinforce desired behaviors and monitors effectiveness of HR programs through the tracking of key measures. He/she will balance corporate function geographic and business needs in deploying HR programs for HPFS. Position is accountable for a global program focus and coordinates with regional HR team members supporting HPFS. This role collaborates with HR program/policy/process owners to deliver effective HR programs. The HR Business Partner applies advanced subject matter knowledge to complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. The role: * Proactively engages in strategic business planning where there is HR impact in order to ensure successful implementation of HR programs and processes and achievement of business goals. * Leads the HR programs and processes globally. Evaluates proposed HR programs to determine organization-wide viability. * Establishes and maintains relationships with key decision makers at the top of the business. Uses extensive business or function knowledge to drive the execution of a wide spectrum of Human Resource (HR) programs. * Coach senior leadership within the business on issues that impact HR. * Supervises the complex quantitative and qualitative analyses of financial and workforce data. * Assesses HR implications of the business strategy, identifies opportunities to further meet business needs and designs solutions. * Develops change management strategies within the business to support the implementation of HR programs and initiatives. Act as the senior adviser inside the organization during the implementation phase. * Manages and leads priority projects that support organization-wide transformation initiatives. * Collaborates with senior colleagues in the centers of expertise in order to apply sufficient HR resources to meet the business needs. * Represents the business to the rest of the HR community, especially HRGO and L&D. * Collaborates on design of enterprise-wide programs and initiatives by providing an organization-specific perspective. * Identifies the need for new or improved HR processes and drives the development and implementation of those processes. * Typically partners with Vice President (VP) level business managers. Qualifications Qualifications Required: * A degree in Human Resources, or a related field of study; advanced university degree preferred. * 10+ years of experience in a diverse range of HR functions desired and/or role with experience designing and/or implementing HR programs globally or within a large business unit. * HR experience in support of revenue generating go-to-market organization and sales compensation experience a plus. * Demonstrated experience driving organizational change initiatives, developing workforce plans, and influencing business leaders. * Leadership of priority projects that support organization-wide transformation initiatives. * Experience partnering with senior leaders to deliver HR solutions is required. * Intimate business knowledge; understands financials and business model dynamics. * Supervises the complex quantitative and qualitative analyses of financial and workforce data. * Works on complex problems / projects where analysis of situations or data requires an in depth evaluation of multiple factors. * Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. * Strong project, process and program management skills required. * Collaborates with senior colleagues in the centers of expertise in order to apply sufficient HR resources to meet the business needs. * Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and participates in cross-functional initiatives. * Position frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods.
