QA Analyst

The Risk Management IT Team needs a Senior Quality Analyst to help ensure the provision of high quality systems to the Market Risk Department (MRD). MRD is responsible for monitoring, measuring, and communicating market risks generated by our clients business lines. Position Description Includes: * Contribute to test planning, test preparation and writing, and test execution according to defined best practices, standards, and procedures * Ensure the applications meet the needs of the business * Troubleshoot issues, solving independently or escalating to development team and identifying automation opportunities Requirements: The skills, experience, and knowledge required to be considered for this position include: * QA experience within a distributed environment (Windows UI, Services and Relational Databases) * Strong experience with SQL; Linux and Windows scripting (Shell, Dos, etc.); Excel / VBA * Test planning and test case documentation * Manual test execution, test data preparation and reporting test results * Experience with HP automation tools (QC and QTP) * Experience working with offshore teams * Strong analytic and problem solving skills * Personable, able to interface with senior management in Business and IT, as well as technical colleagues Skills Desired: * Linux; Shell scripting; Perl; DB2 UDB; OLAP; Excel; and data analysis
