The Statistical Analyst will act as lead programmer to write and validate SAS programs that produce analysis datasets and analyses specified in the Statistical Analysis Plan. Specific Accountabilities: * Perform statistical analysis on data related to product development in a research and development environment * Use statistical software (SAS, etc.) to create and maintain listings, tabulations, graphical summaries, and formal statistical estimates and tests * Create analysis datasets, assess quality of data analysis programs, and develop automated analysis tools where appropriate * Be responsible for data integration used for clinical summaries and/or creation and quality control of statistical submission components to regulatory agencies * Partner with biostatisticians and clinical data management staff in establishing standards for clinical data collection, management and/or reporting of data Requirements: For you to be the successful candidate we are looking for in this role you must possess: * 4-6 years of experience as a Statistical Programmer in the pharmaceutical industry * Exceptional analytical skills * Knowledge of regulatory submission * Knowledge of clinical trial conduct and the data and reporting requirements for clinical trials * Strong communication and presentation skills * Ability to work independently and be adept at managing multiple competing tasks * Strong knowledge in the following statistical software packages: SAS, SPSS, SYSTAT and TSP Education: * Masters degree in Statistics (required) Due to the precise requirements of this position, we will only be contacting candidates that meet all of the listed criteria.
