Currently, one of our top clients is in search of an exceptional Clinical Project Director in Parsippany, NJ. The Clinical Project Director will be responsible for overseeing the entire clinical process and must know how to manage the business aspect of clinical trials. He/She will provide overall leadership and management across all teams for domestic and/or international projects. Specific Accountabilities: * Primary responsibility to lead the DSP project teams * Provide day-to-day leadership: lead the process of developing integrated strategic plans and operational plans for projects together with the client * Focus the team on optimizing value, time, resources, and risk / opportunity * Track the progress of project plans and identify issues and lead contingency planning * Contribute to resolving conflicts within and between project teams that affect client objectives * Facilitate decision-making by providing options and recommended action plans to the President * Support the business development process to achieve strategic and operational objectives for each project * Independently responsible for hiring, training, and retaining a project team and study vendors * Host and organize all new client visit / meetings Requirements: For you to be the successful candidate we are looking for in this role, you must possess: * Direct CRO experience working for a CRO * Knowledge and understanding of drug development process over different stages * A strong ability to communicate effectively in both positive and negative situations * Strong written and oral communication skills * Great Interpersonal skills * Ability to understand the day-to-day functions of project management * An innovative approach to problem solving and anticipate issues before they become one For consideration, you also must possess a Bachelors Degree with minimum 2 years of experience in a pharmaceutical company across multiple functions and 3 years of experience in a CRO including a management role.
