Geospatial Data Analyst (Deployable)

The candidate will provide geospatial analytic and data integration support to the National Joint Operations and Intelligence Center (NJOIC) as a representative of the Counter IED Operations Integration Center (COIC). Perform a broad range of geo-spatial analysis tasks, for the NJOIC mission set, using the COIC User Defined Operational Picture (UDOP) and other GIS tools. Apply individual knowledge and skills, in the Operations Center dynamic, and provide written, oral, and presentation format final products for a variety of mission types and clients. Work with the NJOIC team to provide assessments of mission support, data integration, and analysis requirements. Participate in meetings, design reviews, briefings, and identify/report/resolve problems through Joint Staff working groups. Work independently, under general guidelines set by supervisors.

Job Requirements:

-Solid work ethic with a "can do" attitude and willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done.

-Candidate must be able to lift 50 pounds

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Must be willing to travel for extended period of time.

- Ability to work in team environment

- Must be willing to work on an overtime basis.

- May require preparation for and deployment to hostile environments in support of customer missions.

-Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must possess an active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI access (TS/SCI).

Deployment Qualifications:

Before the selected individual is deployed he/she understands he/she will be processed through an Individual Deployment Site/CONUS Replacement Center (IDS/CRC). Prior to deployments individual will read, and thoroughly understand the terms and conditions which he/she will be deployed and the expected field environment. The Civilian Individual Readiness Processing (IRP) Qualification Deployment Criteria which must be met for Deployment are: Personnel Records, Personnel Management, Personnel Actions, Organizational Clothing/Equipment, Medical, Dental, Legal, CPO, Transportation, Provost Marshal, Housing Office, Army Community Services, and Installation Requirements.
