Overview: with a playful chic aesthetic and a clean, graphic approach to design, american accessories company kate spade has become a modern american classic. the brand is well known for signature handbags, shoes, eyewear, stationery, and accessories for the home, including china, crystal, and flatware. we are currently seeking applicants for our spring 2010 internship program at our corporate headquarters. intern opportunities are available in merchandising, sourcing and manufacturing, store operations, domestic and international wholesale sales, strategic marketing, and public relations. the program will run from january 25th through aptil 30th. all students are required to receive academic credit through their college or university. Responsibilities: ? must be a college junior or senior ? able to work in a fast paced environment and eager to learn ? prior experience working in the fashion industry or interning in a corporate role is a plus ? curious, creative thinking and enthusiastic with a hard-working nature ? strong computer skills with knowledge of all microsoft office programs ? candidates must be professional, polished and polite
