Corporate Banking team focused on US Municipal clients (not for profit health care sector focus). The incumbent will be responsible for structuring, delivery, and management of bank debt to our client base while optimizing the use of lending in connection with Capital Markets? relationship goals. Key Accountabilities: ? Structure letters of credit ( LOC?) and liquidity facilities in support of variable rate tax-exempt bond issues, bridge loans, and revolvers for identified issuer and investor clients. ? Primarily underwrite not-for-profit health care transactions, with the ability to underwrite transactions in all other Municipal Sectors. ? Analyze and provide recommendations on trade requests from the municipal derivatives desk including interest rate swaps, swaptions, total return swaps, etc. ? Prepare credit submissions and other documentation related to the transaction approval process. ? Negotiate terms and conditions for various credit enhancement facilities. ? Assist in the preparation and presentation of marketing pitches to existing and potential clients. ? Manage internal credit administration processes, including monitoring of the teams loan portfolio performance and market/industry conditions as they affect this performance. This will also include being involved in the activities of Credit Portfolio Management and Credit Transaction Management (middle office). ? Engage peers in Risk Management and Credit Portfolio Management in the application for credit and in subsequent administration and monitoring. ? Ensure timely updates on client, industry, and market performance, particularly in connection with any signs of potential deterioration or developments requiring amendments/waivers to existing loan documentation. ? Liaise with back office functions connected to, for examples, wires, payments, settlements, etc. Job Requirements: (Knowledge/ Experience): ? Bachelors Degree required with a focus in Business, Economics, Mathematics or other quantitative fields; ? Masters/ MBA/ CFA or other relevant professional designation highly preferred. ? Minimum of 10 years related work experience in corporate lending/finance. ? Ability to analyze and negotiate loan agreements and other documentation. ? Strong financial, credit and financial statement analytical skills. ? Working knowledge of Tender Option Bond programs. ? Strong presentation and client skills. ? Strong analytical, research and modeling skills. ? Excellent written and communication skills. ? Knowledgeable of relevant capital markets products. ? Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. ? Ability to perform well under pressure and meet time sensitive deadlines. ? Ability to prioritize work and multi-task responsibilities including working on multiple project teams. ? Ability to commit to over and above regular work hours as required including weekends and whatever is required for client service.
