Bring your expertise to RBC Capital Markets, a premier investment bank. You will partner with business leaders and HR business partners to deliver recruitment support and establish a solid recruitment practice from our New York Office. This is a great opportunity for recruitment experts willing to roll up their sleeves in support of our talent strategy for our Capital Markets business. As the recruiter for an entrepreneurial and fast paced Investment Banking business located in New York City, this role will have accountability for Investment Banking recruitment activities in New York and throughout the US. This includes business consultation; advice and recruiting support; liaising with industry organizations, recruitment vendors and candidates; and sourcing external talent for the organization. Key Accountabilities: Your responsibilities include full end to end recruitment support and consultation: * Developing high-impact recruitment strategies * Sourcing and identifying best-qualified candidates * Developing candidate pipelines * Coaching managers on affirmative action & diversity hiring strategies * Sourcing diverse candidates & leveraging diverse candidate pipelines * Influencing managers on final candidate selection * Defining position requirements * Supporting workforce planning initiatives * Establishing relationships with various agencies and third party vendors To be successful in this role, you will possess the following: * Experience recruiting Investment Banking professionals up to Managing Director (MD) level * Creative and established sourcing strategies related to identifying and hiring qualified candidates * Demonstrated full lifecycle recruiting in a fast paced, dynamic and entrepreneurial environment * Experience interacting with all levels of management * Proven relationship building skills * Proven ability to understand and execute recruitment practices within an OFCCP regulatory environment to mitigate organization risk * Successful utilization of e-Recruitment technology and internet recruitment activities * Proven success working in a recruitment agency and/or corporate environment- with aggressive proactive recruiting model Job Requirements: (Knowledge/ Experience): Minimum Basic Qualifications: * Five plus years of recruiting for Investment Banking professionals up to MD level * Bachelors Degree * Excellent relationship building skills and proven ability to provide value added consultative service * Results oriented with a sense of urgency * Excellent presentation skills and ability to interact effectively up to the executive and director level * Proven the to network effectively within the Investment Banking environment * Experience working with e-Recruitment tools and behavioral based interviews * Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills * Demonstrated attention to detail in prior roles * Must be able to work in the U.S without sponsorship Preferred Qualifications: * AIRS certification * Previous experience with a federal contractor employer * Prior employment with a large Investment Banking Company * Experience executing diversity recruitment strategies Required Skills/ Competencies/ Attributes: Education: BA/BS Required Accreditation(s): Special Conditions: None Diversity: Diversity in the workplace, one of our shared values, lies at the heart of our rewarding, open, supportive and inclusive work environment.
